Mike Easton
DirectorAs a Director with Horty & Horty, P.A., Mike serves clients in many industries, including gaming, construction, not-for-profit, real estate development and governmental industries with traditional accounting and auditing issues. Additionally, Mike assists with consulting projects where forensics, mergers, acquisitions and litigation support are needed. Mike plays an active role in the Firm’s business development efforts by regularly attending events hosted by the Associated Builders and Contractors of Delaware, Home Builders of Association of Delaware d/b/a Builders and Remodelers Association of Delaware (BRAD), Delaware Contractors Association, Central Delaware Chamber of Commerce and various other mid-lower Delaware associations. He currently serves on the Executive Committee and Board of Directors of BRAD and recently received the prestigious James C. McCulley Associate of the Year award in recognition of his many contributions to the Association. In addition to the items noted above, Mike also directs the operations of By The Book Services, Inc.
Mike is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Delaware Society of Certified Public Accountants (DSCPA). Brad Slaney
DirectorAs a Director with the firm, Brad offers Horty & Horty, P.A. clients’ expertise in traditional accounting, audit, and tax services. Working with clients in the gaming, construction, not-for-profit, real estate development and governmental industries, Brad welcomes the challenge of solving issues for clients and his attention to detail and strong work ethic have been influential in his career. Brad enjoys the variety of his day, whether it’s helping clients improve internal controls, reduce tax burdens or expose inefficiencies, clients can rest-assured knowing that they have Brad’s full attention.
Brad serves on the Board of Trustees of the Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition. Additionally, he is an active participant in the firm’s business development efforts and regularly attends mid-lower Delaware events hosted by the Home Builders Association of Delaware, Central Delaware Chamber of Commerce, Delaware Contractors Association and various other mid-lower Delaware associations. Danielle’s experience covers more than 22 years in real estate, franchise accounting and manufacturing industries. Danielle’s software experience includes Microsoft Word, Excel, QuickBooks, Sage, Edmunds Gov Tech and QAD Manufacturing.
When not at work, Danielle likes spending time with her family, going to the beach, exercising and enjoying a good book.
